At LNF, we manufacture our own semiconductor chips in a world-class cleanroom environment equipped with the most advanced semiconductor processing tools. Epitaxial wafer design: atom by atom

Our deep understanding of material science and cryogenic conditions allows us to continually push the boundaries of LNAs’ performance by optimizing the structure of the epitaxial wafers used in our processing. Fine-tuning each layer in our epitaxial wafer design has resulted in outstanding LNA performance.

Nanometer-scale precision

Access to the state-of-the-art electron beam and laser lithography tools enables us to achieve unparalleled precision at the nanometer scale. This advanced technology allows for fabricating intricate, high-performance transistors with gate lengths below 50 nm.

Process adaptability

Our in-house MMIC process allows us to tailor it for specialized custom applications or integrate it with other technologies. This adaptability allows us to meet the specific requirements of diverse projects, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration for a wide range of applications.

Reliability and quality assurance

Each new wafer’s MMICs undergo stringent checks to ensure reliability and quality before being released for LNA production. We examine chips using advanced microscopy techniques and harsh reliability tests, ultimately guaranteeing the durability and longevity of our semiconductor devices.
