World’s smallest 4-12 GHz isolator
The key components to route the microwave signals at millikelvin temperatures are cryogenic circulators and isolators. There is a constant quest to reduce the footprint of these bulky components due to the very limited space at the coldest stage of cryocoolers. We at LNF have addressed this by introducing a new 4-12 GHz circulator/isolator with reduced size without sacrificing the superb performance.
The new generation isolator/circulator is called LNF-ISC4_12B and LNF-CIC4_12B. To best of our knowledge, this is the smallest isolator/circulator in the 4-12 GHz band.
